The west entrance is devoted to the end of Jesus’s life. Saint Veronica holds the cloth that bore an impression of Jesus’s visage after he had wiped his face with it. The helmeted Roman soldiers bear an erie resemblance to the chimneys on Gaudi’s Casa Mila.
