Of course, rainbows always mean rain! So, my hsband went to work on getting the rainfly onto the tent and I snuck a peak at the sunset from the opposite side of the campsite. Wow, it just doesn't get much better than this! :)

Somehow we lucked out. While we got a light rain off and on throughout the evening, we never got the heavy downpour that we'd seen "chasing" us. On our hike out two days later we learned from another group of hikers that the storm had flooded a portion of Hwy 211. We never had a clue what was happening around us!
