February 20

I like the blogs that others are adding to their photos, and though I'm not a person to
spill my heart out to the world, these little glimpses into other lives are intriguing to me.

With that in mind, may I ask a few moments of silence for the demise of this old dryer. It's older than
many of you and has served me well. It's built like a truck and was made in the days when things were supposed
to last longer than a week or two. It was replaced yesterday, and now sits in the garage
waiting until I see one of those ads in the paper that asks for old appliances 'working or not'.

First thing I thought here was the way Hannibal Lector was transported in the movie Silence of the Lambs....That said, I will observe a moment of silence for your dear dryer.

Oh! Oh! Nothing eternal, alas! Hope new one will work for a long time.

I've already rebuilt ours once.
Blew a rear drum bearing, and it's only 10 years old!

Sad when an old friend goes out of your life

Congrats on your new dryer, I had to replace a 14 year old, a couple of weeks ago.
