This solar-powered beacon is to warn boaters of a particularly dangerous narrows. The sun
would have reached it shortly after I took this. More pics taken today are

I love solar panels. I had them installed on the roof of my (last) house to take care of all my hot water needs
and they worked even when there was a small layer of snow on top of them.
