Also known as Scorpionfishes, Rockcods, Thornyheads, Rock Perches, Ocean Perches, Sea Perches, Marbled Rockfish, Dusky Stingfish and Japanese Stingfish.
Found on rocky bottoms of seaward reefs and lagoons.
They feed on crustaceans.
Length - 30cm
Widespread Western Pacific
These fish are related to Scorpionfish, they have venomous glands in their pelvic, dorsal and Anal Fins.
