I did shoot this on a seamless background. You can see the rock on the right side holding the mat board in place. It was a light gray speckled matboard instead of white, so I had to play with it in Photoshop. I did away with most of the shadow, but left a little intact to give it a little depth, so it doesn't look like it is floating. Some people know how to use light to get my final result out of the camera. I get close, then finish in Photoshop. Maybe that is the lazy way, but it works for me!
