St. Stephen's Cathedral, the largest and most famous church in Austria's capital Vienna. Shown is the western front with the main entrance portal, built around 1230 AD in Romanesque style. All other sections are Gothic in and it took several hundred years for completion. At the end of WW II the church suffered heavy damage but of course it has been restored long since.
