While our friends were only with us for one day here, Janet & I spent 4 days here. Along with the whale cruise we all took on the first day, Sep 19, Janet & I stayed in Sitka another 3 days while I took a 3 day Photo Workshop. This was all done through A Whale's Song Expeditions, www.awhalessongexpeditions.com, with Neil McDermott - Captain and Expedition Leader, and Lione Clare - Photography Leader / Naturalist, on Neil's boat, "Swell Times". While I did not see any bubble net feeding that I hoped to see, I did see multiple breaches, tail slapping, and lots and lots of whales up close! I do recommend them if you are in the Sitka area!
