Our dog Maizy and me in front of Crater Lake. Maizy here is about 10-11 years old. We got her from the Lincoln County Animal Shelter in Newpoet, Oregon two years ago. At the time they said she was 8-9 years old. She is part Golden Retriever, part Golden Labrador, plus we believe she also has some Cattle Dog in her judging by the spots on her small feet. Those small feet made it very hard for her to walk in deep snow!
