This sign is located in a small turnoff along the road to the village of Vatia on the North coast of American Samoa. Pola Island is within the National Park of American Samoa, as well as being within the Vai'ava Strait National Natural Landmark. This island is often used as the image for the National Park of American Samoa, which also is located on several other islands of American Samoa and includes significant underwater areas with spectacular coral and marine life.
