Bighorn Sheep I literally ran into on Highline Trail. It was near the North end of the Garden Wall section of the trail. There is a sharp corner there. We were coming back from a hike out to Haystack Butte area. Just as I got to the corner, I came face to face with this Bighorn Sheep, along with a group behind him! I had no place to go, so I backed up to the wall as tight as I could, talked softly to him and indicated with my hand that they could go around me. He looked at me, tilted his head like a dog does when you talk to it, looked around and finally hopped down off the trail. Even though the trail was very steep there, they were able to go down and around me, and came back up just past my wife.
