Indian Paintbrush (Castilleja) in clump of Creeping Beardtongue (Penstemon ellipticus). Note that Indian Paintbrush, though it has green leaves and are able to photosynthesize, it also gets extra water and nutrients by tapping into nearby roots. So it is a partial parasite!
