On our way from Zion to Bryce Canyon, we decided to take a detour and turned South on Hwy 89 for about a half hour to go to Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park. On weekends, holidays and in summer this park is loaded with ATV's and other 4x4 vehicles driving all over the sand. However we were here on a Wednesday morning in early February, so basically had the park to ourselves and one or two other couples. Then on our way back North to Bryce Canyon, se spotted some Pronghorn Antelope along side the road and watched them one-by-one jump the fence to leave. Finally, shortly before arriving at Bryce we drove through a scenic area called Red Canyon.
