I was stationed at the Rheinland Kaserne in Ettlingen in 1964. I was with the 502nd Engineer Floating Bridge company, and I am thrilled to find these pictures of Ettlingen and the kaserne. I was transferred from the 502nd to the 55th Engineer Panel bridge company at Smiley Barracks in Karlsruhe after making SGT E5, and stayed at Smiley until I left Germany in late 1967 or early 1968. I use to walk thru the Ettlingen Marktplatz and clock tower just about every evening on my way from the kaserne to my favorite guesthouse. I remember this like it were just yesterday. I would love to have this picture hanging on my wall to look at, and remember the good old days, and good times I had when I was stationed there. (Great Picture)
