Erie Canal Ride 2008

This was the tenth anniversary of this ride sponsored by PTNY. It was oversubscribed and the organizers had to cut participants off at 575. Great ride, register early.

i am curious, were you using a tilt lens for some of these architectural and scenic photos? They are wide angle, but no converging lines.

Mr Cassatt, Thank you for your pictures. We did'nt get to make the ride but intend to ride part of the canal in August. Hope to do the complete ride in 2009.

Hi, Thanks for sharing your photo's I enjoyed seeing them in "04" and again today.As I've said before you are a great photographer. I rode the Erie in July 2005 and plan to repeat the ride next year for my 70th celebration, this year I am riding the Hudson Valley ride from Albany to Battery Park.
