Thank you! Normally I'd agree with you, shooting a lens wide open is seldom going to give such good results. But the 85mm f/1.4D IF AF is an exceptional lens, even among Nikkors. And, normally I wouldn't take this shot at f/1.4. Unfortunately, the Smithsonian does not allow tripods which limits your options.
