Sometimes the bad guys get lucky, with small arms fire, Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPGs), Machine guns, IED's, Rockets, and many other things they find to cause pain, damage, and suffering. This particular attack happened during one of our many missions to yet another remote location and we were not even half way yet. Self recovery is the key for those of working as ETTs. Otherwise, it could be a very long time before anyone could reach us. Luckily, all of the ETTs on our primary team are dedicated experts in thier specialties, so we usually require very little in the way of assistance from other groups. Other teams are not so lucky.
