Royal Viking's Sun of 1988 was purchased by Cunard in 1994 along with the small Royal Viking Queen. She retained her name (under Cunard's black and red colors) until Cunard was taken over by Carnival. In 1999 she was moved over to Seabourn as Seabourn Sun, and in 2002 transferred to Holland-America as Prinsendam. So far so good.
