The port of Charlotte Amalie provides a nice size comparison among three ships at the pier: from left, Sovereign of the Seas (1988, 74,000 tons),
Nieuw Amsterdam (1983, 34,000 tons) and Star Princess (1989, 64,000 tons). The 72,000-ton S.S. Norway (1961) is anchored offshore.
