The elegant Sagafjord was launched by Norwegian America Line in 1965 and sold to Cunard in 1983 (as pictured above).
In 1997 she was sold to Saga Shipping and renamed Saga Rose. New SOLAS fire regulations sealed her fate in 2009,
like many other old ships. Faced with unjustifiable refit costs, Saga sold her for scrap in China.
