This is the mash tun, and a few shots of the false bottom (actually a cheap stainless steel splash guard from Linens N' Things). Below that is a stainless steel braid taken from a hose picked up at Lowes. Together (along with the natural grainbed filter), these filter out most of the crud that isn't wanted over in the boil.
