I graduated last Mar 2006 and haven't been to LB since. I plan to visit the place sometime next year. I thank you for the photos. I was upset when they told me that Milenyo has ruined the beautiful campus. But based on your pics, I can say that the damage was manageable.

Hello to everyone,
My final day at UPLB was in July, 1968, when I finished a three-year Peace Corps assignment as a visiting instructor in the Department of Humanities. Edel Legaspi was the chairwoman at that time. Thank you Mr. Manalastas for these photos. I plan to go dig out my slides from forty years ago and look at them. The campus clearly has changed so much, and yet I recognize the old Rural High School building, Baker Hall, Palma Bridge, and the Co-op; is the Humanities Department now in what used to be the library? The "Grove" that I experienced looked very different from what you show. I treasure my years at College: I feel that I learned much more than I taught. My colleagues in the Humanities Department, each in his or her way, taught me more than they knew; for that, I'll always be grateful grateful.
Again, thanks for the photos and for chance to add my note here.
Most sincerely,
Edward Gavin
