Almost a Year To The Day that my beloved tortoiseshell cat had to be put to sleep this tortoiseshell cat appeared curled up fast asleep on the chair in my kitchen ! . . . and has been there virtually ever since !

I have asked everyone and all around if she belongs to anyone nearby but no one has come looking for her and no one seems to know where she belongs . . .

She was rather thin and had a lacklustre coat of it's many colours and one eye was a bit weepy. She was extremely hungry and just ate and slept, ate and slept ! She brought me a mouse as a Thank You Present the other night ! Now she seems to believe she Belongs here as she comes back after her sorties Out & About & cries at the door to be let in, curls up on "her" chair and for all the world looks as if she's always been here !

So ~ I have been experimenting with her portrait . . .
