Our evening tour took us to a different part of Prague than where our hotel was.
The Lennon Wall represented not only a memorial to John Lennon and his ideas for peace,
but also a monument to free speech and the non-violent rebellion of Czech youth against the regime.
Since the summer of 2019, nobody is allowed to contribute to the John Lennon wall without permission.
The wall as a symbol of peace had faded into the background as tourists often scribbled vulgar and inappropriate graffiti.
After visiting the Wall we were taken to a local brewery run by monks to sample some of their delicious brews.
A fun evening was had!
