St. Michaels and All Angels Church

Not too far out of Grassington is a very old Norman church.
This was the church that Helen and James got married in on the All Creatures Great and Small series.
Our driver was telling us parts of the church date back to 800.
The inside was very nice, and I'll show you that tomorrow.
That's our driver, Chris, at the door checking to make sure the church was open.
As you can see, we had the place to ourselves.
I might even go to church if I could go to this one!

It is sometimes difficult to get your head around the age of some churches and buildings…I felt compelled to place my palm on the walls. Love this gallery, Jane. V

loolks like a classic rural UK structure...cool POV tolead the eye so directly into the scene...seems a tree trunk has been smartly fashioned into seats..
