As you cross the drawbridge to Edinburgh Castle you see two imposing statues towering over all who enter.
Both are legendary Scottish figures.
Robert the Bruce and William Wallace.
The clue is in the crown.
Although he was a great leader of men Wallace was but a land owner.
Robert the Bruce was King of the Scots.
I was lucky to get a clear shot here.
If we hadn't purchased our tickets on line weeks ahead of time we would not have gotten in the castle.
They let people enter in time slots and it was sold out for the day.
