I agree, so sad to see our Democracy under assault from the top with so much support from a significant proportion of the population and the vast majority of a political party. I'm guessing here, but I don't think our forefathers would be happy about this. I am hopeful, but by no means confident, that the American people will take back the soul of this nation in November. I have to say that part of that lack of confidence stems from the fact that we can't even unite as a nation to do the most rudimentary things like wear masks and social distance to save thousands of American lives. Not exactly our finest hour.
