Newborn to 1 month

Ava arrived a week late. Rachel was in labour 22 hours before the doctors decided to do a C-section. The decision saved Ava's life. The doctors found the cord wrapped around her neck twice. Ava was a little blue upon her arrival, but a blast of oxygen woke up her healthy lungs. After a quick check of her vital signs and a wipe down, I met my daughter for the first time. It really was love at first sight.
