Kyoto Station

Like it or loathe it, Kyoto Station is a marvel of modern architecture and engineering, and with Kansai Airport makes two transportation hubs that infrastructure fans must see on their visit to Kansai.

These shots from around Kyoto Station were taken the time I stayed at a hotel next to the station in 2007.
