Pushing the Speed Limit

So my walkabout ended at the Shinkansen ("Super Express" or better know outside of Japan as the "Bullet Train") line, here is a 700 series Shinkansen heading towards Osaka. After this I had to hurry back home because I had to meet a friend, so I didn't take any shots on the way back.

I hope you've enjoyed this little walkabout in Nagaokakyo.

That is a very cool train and would love to take a trip on it one of these days. Is it as fast as the ICE in Germany ?? : )
