This is the 3rd Gila Monster (Heloderma suspectum) I have seen this year. IMG_7810.jpg

It was about 18 inches long, the largest I have seen in the wild. What a pleasure to see this beautiful creature.

I finally had my camera with me as I did have it along for the first two sightings.
