Snoqualmie Rail Yard

Antique steam engines and rusted railroad cars are the centerpiece of Snoqualmie, proud remnants of the logging town's past. The yard includes steam and diesel locomotives, freight cars, passenger cars, maintenance equipment used for building and repairing track, a 5-mile segment of historic railroad and a 19th-century train station.
These are my impressions of the beautiful old discarded iron horses and their kin.
Equipment: Canon EOS 20D, Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX and a Monopod. This was my First serious outing with the Sigma 70-200.

The way you have brought out the value of details and colours is stunning!
I adore this gallery, I love trains usually, but this choice to show them by "little pieces" is fantastic.
