On a Lazy Saturday morning in May the town was just waking up. I drove from the Seattle area on a rain marred morning. My plans for some landscape photography along the North Cascade Highway(Highway 20) cancelled, I settled down in one of the coffee shop saddles for a hot cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll.
