Yes - exactly so

So I read your comment about the flash. So, If I understand, it was in the Dark and you had a exposure of 2 Sec for your exposure. But as soon as you break the glass, your flash turn on at 1/5000... is it that?

Wow, I Like it. But I don't understand your 2 SEC of Exposure. What you did? It's too clear. But at the end, very good effect.

The exposure time is actually two seconds, but it's not the shutter that freezes the moment - it's an external flash that fires by impact. The flash burst is very short, in the 1/5000 range and it illuminates the subject in one go.

Synchronizing the shutter at these speeds is impossible and the shutter curtain is too slow by all means
Guest 21-Aug-2007 21:48
are you sure the exposure time is 2 full seconds?
That is impossible! the picture is fast, I would say 1/250s or so.

How did you break it?
