Cut the wires to the LED of the door chime and attach them to the LED inputs of the CNY17-3F. Connect pin 1 (LED anode) to the positive side of the chime's LED (typically a red wire). Further connect pin 2 (LED cathode) to the negative side of the chime's LED (typically a black wire).

Solder in two wires on the transistor output of the CNY17-3F and connect them to the RS80-N3. Connect pin 4 (emitter) to the ground side of the remote (blank copper shield) and pin 5 (collector) to the trigger input of the remote (red wire).
