Deep down in mine’s world of ultimate silence and darkness a very special sense of presence can be felt. However, equally surrealistic is the feeling of being absolute beyond help where no one will hear you scream. It is damp and pitch dark, where the lighting from the torch and the lamp in the helmet only creates insignificant beams in the giant voids of the mine.
