Okay.. had to brag for my students
Today was the start of the district art faire.

The ones against the gray background..
Are the First Graders
Pink background
is the afterschool crew.
4 out of 10/9 were picked from each of my groups
at my school.. and here is how they did!

Dawn, what a wonderful project. It is such a fantastic way to encourage their creativity and get them interested in 'seeing' with a camera at such a young age. I'm picturing 20 or so years down the road, one of them being interviewed about their photographs and the response starting out, "Oh, wow .. I remember my teacher, Ms. Handova, and the day she got us started with on a camera in an after school project. That's where it all started for me."
