a poem-inspired by the final image

Oh to be Tall, Slender, Graceful
To have a delicate sense of balance
To not be afraid of heights

As a surviving twin
always feeling a bit asunder
split in twain as it were
figuring that my alter ego is
simply awaiting me
for the day we both have our wings.
