April 17th

Sigh.. Boxed up my Pro-1 today..
It has a white fleck Inside the lens..
and.. thinking DSLR may be a better fit for
classroom and animal candids.. Faster focusing time I hope.
So mailing back to Amazon Monday.. sigh..

So, Took out my ole reliable today, Powershot A-40
And did a belly crawl to get a close up of Yaps this afternoon.
Heart wasn't too much in PaD, but he looked nice in the afternoon sun
and didn't want to 'cheat' by using one from earlier this week.
Gave it a thought tho.

BUMMED... TODAY..

1/320s f/2.8 at 5.4mm full exif

other sizes: small medium large auto

Bummer about the Pro 1, so which DSLR are you thinking about getting?

Your cat looks very sympathetic and thoughtful.

Sorry about your camera drama! I had a problem with dead pixels on my first D100, had to return it as well, BUT the good news is that the second one I got has been WONDERFUL! Best of luck to ya!

And as for Yaps, FABULOUS model! LOVE this shot, especially the sunspots! Just delightful!

love the lighting. Adds to the mysterious look of the subject. Great shot

She's a beauty. See, you did good getting a shot with your old reliable fallback camera.

Sorry about the Pro 1, but you seem to do well with your older camera. I like the backlighting and the way you've still managed to keep the detail in the shadows. Hard to do with a white cat. Well done.

No.. Aslan's the catnip dude.. Yaps.. it's milk and 'nursing' on fingers... He still thinks he's a kitten.

Is Yap thinking, "OMG, she's got that camera thingy out again... Why can't she go around with the catnip instead?? These humans." :)
