I keep coming back to this one, Heidi. The patterns of the peacock's tail and the ivy tend repeat each other. If you had pulled back a bit with your zoom or with your feet, you would have also included its feet, and given the tail a bit more room to float. Even with the very tight frame, there is much here that works as expression, the contrast in colors, the repetition of pattern, and the way the strands of ivy winding down the wall at center echo the strands of
feathers on the peacock's tail. It is obvious that you recognized the value of these contrasts and comparisons, and drew them together in your frame to express the wonder of nature at work.
