Lumber City Ferry

Long time ago. According to the date on this photo (1912?) this shot was made about a month before my father was born. However, looking at the date again it looks like 1915?? What does it look like to you? I believe Lumber City got their bridge in 1924; Jacksonville, Ga., got its bridge in 1935.

My grandmother, Bertha Wilbanks Lowery, is the shortest person (4th in line) in the picture with the flowers around her hat. I will have to check on it, but I believe my grandfather's father (Lowery) is first on the left.

This is another photo with my grandmother's handwriting on it (Bertha Wilbanks Lowery). The date is April 25th 1915.
