Grave of Chief Justice Boney At Bethel Church, China Hill, Near Jacksonville, Ga.

This picture has been lightened considerably to enhance readability. By the accounts I have read, Justice Boney was a great and generous man. Someone just wrote today telling me what a great and positive influence this man had on her life (these comments will be included as soon as we have a valid photo of Chief Justice Boney; see apology below) . He possessed an incredible legal mind but was a Christian and a gentleman. With all his success he never got all the river mud from between his toes. He maintained his Masonic membership at Coffee Lodge which once met, and might now, in the upper story of Bethel Church which stands beside the cemetery. At death he was brought home to rest with the rest of his people - the Boneys of China Hill.

We now have a correct photo for Chief Justice George F. Boney (see Supreme Court photo by pressing Previous).

George Boney was my first cousin. Our fathers were brothers. He died when I was 19 years old. I remember him well. I see his brothers Tommy and Howell and his sister Evelyn sometimes on my visits to Jacksonville, Florida where my sisters still live.
