Giralda 2015

The Giralda is the bell tower of the Cathedral of Seville and was formerly the minaret of the mosque that stood on this site under Muslim rule. The Giralda was built to resemble the minaret of the Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakech, Morocco and was converted into a bell tower for the cathedral after the Reconquista.
