Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, a National Audubon Society managed sanctuary, is a gateway to the Great Florida Birding Trail located in southwest Florida. A 2 mile boardwalk accesses the site through wet prairie, Pond cypress, Bald cypress, and marsh ecosystems within the sanctuary.
