Almendres Cromlech

The Cromlech of the Almendres is a megalithic complex situated outside of Évora in the Alentejo and
consisting of an impressive stone circle arrangement & individual standing menhir stones.
The construction of these structures dates back to the 6th millennium BC from the early to late Neolithic period.
