It’s raining … again. Not only is it raining, there’s lightning and thunder. Driving back from Jacksonville today, I drove straight through a tornado-watch with blasts of lightning and rain so heavy I was reduced to 40 miles an hour on Hwy 10 trying to peer past the hood of my car. The wind was so rough it was thrashing my full sized Trail Blazer LS back and forth like a toy Tonka car. The gutters and sewers have backed up; rain is pouring off the eaves of my house like a waterfall and I swear to God it’s been raining for forty days and forty nights to the point I seriously doubt my sanity.

This is “Sunny Florida” Damnit! It’s not supposed to rain like this! I’m not supposed to live through a monsoon; my skin is not supposed to wrinkle up and look like a prune from the moisture; and I absolutely refuse to post any more photos of dreary, wet, rainy days!

This image was a pool party we had back in late summer with two of my nieces Erica and Natalie enjoying the heat of an honest-to-God Sunny day in Florida! That’s more like it!
