When my daughter Allison was going to take the trash out, (she was spending the night to visit
her brother Jacob, here for the weekend visiting me), she discovered this little Momma Turtle
laying her eggs in our yard. (“Plop Plop” as she described it.) This was just too cool!
The dirt behind her is from covering the nest in sand.
