This is the remains of my Daughter Allison’s beloved little Ford Taurus sedan. It was her freedom, … her open road, … her joy. Yesterday at about noon she was involved in a rear end collision with another car, and such was the force of the collision both front air bags were deployed and the front end of the car was crushed back like it was designed to do absorbing the force of the impact and crushed the engine. It will undoubtedly be totaled by the insurance of course, but thank God she was not injured although she is sore today. The hits just keep coming, and she’s heartbroken about it. A man’s child is always his child, no matter how old she becomes, and I in a real way share her heartache.
It’s a guy thing, … loving his daughter.
