Step One

Step 1. This is the original image as downloaded from my camera, with only slight cropping and resizing done so it will fit comfortably on the page. As a rule, I save most of my images to 700 pixels on the longest size for display on a web page. Note the blemish on Brandi’s chin next to her lips. At this point I would zoom in very tight to check all areas of the client’s or model’s face to use the “healing brush” to remove any zits, pimples, unwanted moles or facial hair. This image has not been retouched at this point.
