This Ol’ Country Boy is going to the big city. We’re heading off to Hotlanta for a couple of days for the Fourth to visit my wife’s family. I finished up my packing tonight as we will be leaving at daybreak. Let’s see, … comfortable faded jeans, 2 sets. Undies (one black and one blue.) Two pairs of black socks. Two shirts. (Black) One red bathing suit. Shit kicker Biker Boots. Black hat. Tooth brush and tooth paste. Deodorant. One pistol with 15 round magazine and one in the tube. Two extra mags with 15 rounds each. Combat strap-down holster for the pistol. Four boxes of extra ammo. (Two hundred rounds.) Two boot knives. (One for each shit kicker boot.) Four pocket knives. (One for each faded blue jean pocket.) A belt knife. A small-of-the-back knife (Bowie). There, that should do it. I’m packing light this trip. A Country Boy can survive a city with one of the highest crime rates of the country.
